      <image:caption>The combination of these two ingredients is delightful. Pear gives a natural sweetness with the slight kick from the ginger. The pears go lovely and soft the longer you stew them and feel free to add in more or less ginger depending on your preference. I make a batch of this at the beginning of the week and have it for breakfast with yoghurt/kefir and some of my baked muesli or granola. It also tastes amazing with nut butter, toasted seeds, ground flaxseed, porridge and all types of yoghurt and milk.</image:caption>
